In those days, the popular trend among our mothers and aunties is the natural afro hairstyle. But when civilization comes with the proliferation of western influence, relaxers became a ready go-to by our women. Then we began to see a decline in the rate at which women rocked their natural hair.
In the last ten years, African women began again to return to their natural hairstyles.
